Resources

If you feel you are in imminent danger, call 911.

Safety Tips
Identify 2-3 trusted, safe people you can confide to about your situation.

Keep a log – events that may seem “random” could uncover a pattern when documented. This information may also prove useful if needed in the future.

Have a safety word/phrase with your trusted confidants. You may not always be able to communicate thoroughly when you are in an unsafe situation.

Be aware of anything in the vicinity that can be used as a weapon.

Safety Tips For Children
Avoid being in the same space as any children when your partner starts becoming violent.

Create a plan with your children when violence happens.

Tell you children violence is never right, even when someone they love is being violent.
